bigstock_Red_Tailed_Hawk_331112I thought it would be fun to revive a category I had on the blog many moons ago: The Hawk’s Eye.

In these posts, I share what I’m reading, listening to, exploring, and learning.

As always, use your own intuition and knowing…if it calls to you and resonates with you, great, if not, move on to what does!

Here’s what’s on my reading list these days:

Canine Nutrigenomics: The New Science of Feeding Your Dog for Optimum Health

Jean Dodds, DVM, and Diana R Laverdure

Dr. Jean Dodds is an experienced and much-respected holistic veterinarian. This book contains a lot of useful information about nutrition, canine health, and a sensible, easy-to-understand, non-militant (yay!) approach to improving our canine friends’ nutrition and health.

Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives

Destiny of Souls: New Case Studies of Life Between Lives

Michael Newton

Dr. Michael Newton is a spiritual hypnotherapist who specializes in studying souls’ experiences in the spirit world between physical lives. These books have been around for awhile, and I’ve finally gotten to reading them. It’s been so interesting to read material that is in resonance with much of what I’ve learned from the many conversations I’ve had with animals in the spirit world.

Animal Wisdom: Learning from the Spiritual Lives of Animals (Sacred Activism)

Linda Bender, DVM

How wonderful to find this recent book by a veterinarian that honors telepathic communication and the spiritual lives of animals! Dr. Bender doesn’t use the term “animal communicator”, as she feels it creates an idea that this is a special skill that only some people have. I agree with her completely that telepathic communication with animals is not a special gift reserved for a certain few people, but rather a natural, inborn ability that is our birthright–a universal language shared by all species.

This book contains a lot of beautiful spiritual insight, as well as exercises to help you connect telepathically with your animal friends.

*the fine print*:  I don’t necessarily endorse, promote, recommend, or agree with all that I may post here, but they are materials that I’ve enjoyed, learned from, and appreciate. If you click through to these products on my Amazon store and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission.
