For many people, the holiday season can be challenging, especially if we are grieving.
Grief can take many forms, including both personal and collective losses. Whether we are grieving the loss of a beloved animal friend, a major change in our lives, the loss of species and habitat due to the climate crisis, the loss of a human loved one, or the collective horrors of war and genocide, the holiday time can often intensify our grief.
I recently had the opportunity to have a conversation about grief, loss, and love with author and spiritual counselor, Carolyn Baker. Carolyn has been helping people navigate the territory of grief and loss for decades, and together we explored how we can support ourselves and other people in honoring our grief in healthy and supportive ways.
I loved having this conversation with Carolyn and am delighted to share it with you. You can watch it below.
As we begin 2024, my animal family and I wish you and your families the blessings of peace, deep connection, rest, and healing.
